Low relief, dimensional wall constructions
composed in textured fiberboard, acrylic paint, glass, wood and reed.

My materials are a combination of fiberboard, wood, metal and acrylic paint. The process begins by cutting, carving and shaping the materials. Each piece is then hand painted and airbrushed, often utilizing a texture medium before construction. Small details like the addition of glass, beads and painted reed add the finishing touch.

The result of my work is from an extensive background in design and color. Every piece is an original work of art finished in a custom built box. Only with the occasional assistance from my husband do I utilize any extra hands in my process. Each piece I make is a signed, one of a kind original.
